VaultPDF privacy notice
This notice explains what happens to your documents and other data when you use VaultPDF, a Mesanix Labs product.
Documents and processing
VaultPDF's core PDF tools process the documents you select inside your browser. The application does not send document contents, filenames, or document metadata to a Mesanix Labs PDF-processing service.
Selected files and generated working data are held in browser memory while you use a tool. Reloading or closing the page ends that working session. Files you download remain wherever your browser or device saves them.
Website requests and operational data
Your browser still makes normal network requests to load VaultPDF's HTML, scripts, styles, fonts, images, and other application assets. Our hosting and security providers may process standard request information such as an IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp, and security signals.
That operational request data is used to deliver and protect the website. It is separate from the contents of documents processed in your browser.
Browser storage, analytics, and advertising
VaultPDF stores your light or dark theme preference in your browser's local storage. It does not use local storage as a document repository.
VaultPDF does not currently load advertising or analytics scripts. If advertising or analytics is introduced, this notice will be updated before those services are enabled, and consent controls will be provided where required.
Messages you send
If you contact us by email, we receive the address, message, and attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond, investigate reports, and maintain the service.
Please do not email confidential documents unless they are necessary for your request and you are comfortable sharing them with us.
Questions and updates
We may update this notice when VaultPDF's data practices or service providers change. For privacy questions, contact info@mesanix.com. Security reports should be sent to security@mesanix.com.
